The Maxitrol RV61-1 1/4 is a non-lockup gas regulator for gas flow control/regulation in applications requiring high capacities at low inlet pressure. The straight-through regulator has a 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” threaded pipe connection and a 1/8” Npt vent connection.
The regulator features a conical valve and this type of valve applies the cone principle. It controls the gas flow in a straight-through direction, providing an accurate and constant flow pattern without changing the flow direction. The applicable gas mediums for this regulator are natural, manufactured, mixed gases, liquefied petroleum gases, and LP gas-air mixtures. These gases are commonly used, which makes the RV61 regulators ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial gas-fired appliances.
The RV61-1 1/4 can be mounted in various positions but must be upright position if a ball check vent limiting device is installed.
